French Art Deco Furniture

Pascaud Vitrine

This 1930’s French art deco vitrine is constructed of book-matched macassar ebony veneers with black lacquer trim. It was designed and executed in the atelier of Jean Pascaud (1903 – 1996). The interior is of blond sycamore. The curved doors on each side are fitted with shelves. The fittings are nickeled brass. The center display door above the lower two handled drawer has a beveled glass front. There are two glass shelves. The top is an inch thick slab of black marble with white inclusions. The vitrine measures 59” wide x 17 ½” deep and 58” high.
