The vase has a decor of leaping carp emerging from stylized waves. The technique is nickel inlay on copper with green and brick red fire patina. The vase is stamped “Alemania” , “WMF” and has the WMF cypher of a steeple in a circle (twice). It is 7 7/8” high, 7 in diameter (at the rim) and 3 ¾” diameter (at the foot). It is pictured on page 55 in “ WMF Ikora Metall” By Carlo Burchel & Heinz Scheiffele.
